Senior Citizen Yard Cleanups

Senior citizens whose yards have become too much for them to manage have benefitted from a series of one-day yard cleanup projects done by the members of Beaverton Sunrise Rotary. For more than 10 years, club members have donated weekend cleanups once or twice a year.

The Rotarians have attacked the overgrown yards with mowers, chainsaws, power trimmers, rakes, shovels, clippers and other tools to bring about homes that look neat and trim after the project is finished.

This particular project was done at a Beaverton man's home on May 1, 2004. Rotary Club members, friends and neighbors took part in the improvement effort.

Meeting Logistics: Day:  Tuesday Social Time:  5:15-5:30pm Meeting Time:  5:30 - 6:30  (30 minutes Club Business, 30 minute program) Location:  Shilo Inn   For Rotarians / Guests attending our meetings, we suggest you arrive 30 min prior to meeting start to order your meal/appetizers.  For Rotarians who are doing a "Makeup" or anyone not ordering from the menue, there will be a $5 Fee.   The meetings will start promptly at the indicated time but it will take time to process your food order.  Payment for meals/food will be made directly to the Shilo Inn.
